Blog Post Rubric

Blog post assignments will be given a Technical Grade and will be scored on a 4 level system:

Exceeds Standards

Posts are done on due date, in the correct place, and tagged with correct key words, when appropriate. The post communicates the purpose of the assignment especially well, in a unique and innovative way. The images are inserted, right side up; oriented the correct way. The writing is outstanding; it is written in paragraph form, using at least 4 complete, thorough, and thoughtful sentences. The writing completely and accurately reflects the work and addresses the assignment's purpose.

The post does not include all images required for the assignment. The images are not inserted correctly: a vertical image is posted horizontally or vice-versa. The writing is either not in paragraph form nor uses incomplete sentences, and is grammatically awkward. The writing does not reflect the work and/or does not address the assignment's purpose.

Does Not Meet Standards

Students receive this grade for the following reasons:
Posts are submitted more than 2 weeks after the due date;
The assignment does not communicate the purpose of the assignment;
The writing is incomplete.
